Review of Pixcom AndroTab

Popular new tablet PC in 2009 back since the arrival of Apple's iPad. Since then, nearly all competing vendors released either 10-inch tablet PC, or 7 inches. Vendors in the country is no exception, pixcom is one of them. Pixcom introduced AndroTab, a 7-inch tablet with Android as the operating system.

Design

This tablet size 197 x 120 x 13.2 mm and weighs 382 grams. AndroidTab carrying the capacitive type touch screen with a size of 7 inches. Accompanying resolution 800x480 pixel screen is reached. Screen is not impressive, but comfortable when viewed. The user interface is presented is very typical of android. On the home screen you can add your own widgets that you like or frequent use. To assist in the use, under the display are three soft keys. Available USB port for connection to AndroidTab typical battery charging and data transfer on the side of this tablet, adjacent to the port there is sim card port. While above it there are volume controls and power button that also serves as the lock screen.

The most brilliant idea is to place the speaker Pixcom just below the screen, or on the front. Where most of the local device to put it on the back so that in the supine position so sound is blocked.

Features

Browsing, downloding, video streaming was fast in androidTab. Of course, because the tablet PC already supports HSDPA up to speed. The appearance of the default HTML browser is also getting easier android users in navigating the virtual world. The browser is already equipped with pinch zooming technology, to increase or decrease the longer the site users simply pinching the screen.

For other features, androidTab, G-sensor, built-in GPS module, calculator, calender, google talk browsers, make phone calls, digital compass, Gmail, Gtalk Alarm, Google Maps, and of course the Android Market. To work, we awarded the Word To Go application. We can do the job to edit or create documents in Word, Excel, and PDF.

AndroidTab we offer double camera feature. Behind the camera with a resolution of 5 megapixels and 0.3 megapixels front camera types. The camera is equipped with White Balance, Effects, ISO, Quality, Autofocus and Geotagging. The usefulness of this camera is the facility to communicate with video chat or video call.
